Michael McManus

Michael McManus is a writer, political consultant and campaigner. His most recent books are “Edward Heath: A Singular Life” ((Elliott & Thompson, 2016) and “Tory Pride and Prejudice” (Biteback, 2011). He is a former special adviser and parliamentary candidate; and he was a co-founder (and political director) of Vote 2004, the cross-party campaign for a referendum on the European constitution. Michael also served as executive director of the Press Complaints Commission (PCC), in final last couple of years of its existence (2012-14). He is currently completing work on a piece of political theatre, which he hopes to have produced in 2017.
