Clare Ambrosino – Chairman

Clare Ambrosino joined Parliament Street in 2014 and has been Chairman of the organisation since November 2016. Under her Chairmanship, the organisation has moved from being the new think tank on the block to being widely acclaimed as one ot  “Britain’s leading think tanks” in all mainstream media outlets .Additionally,  Clare  is co-author of Parliament Street’s 2015 book Smart Government, which she conceptualised.

Clare envisioned and developed Women of Influence –  a multiplatform series looking at how female leaders are shaping business, public life and our communities. She counts Sheryl Sandberg and Mika Brzezinski as key influences. Clare  organised Parliament Street’s Woman of Influence conference so that it occurred both alongside and concurrently with the “Women’s March” held in protest to the inauguration of President Trump.

Clare would describe her politics as representing the moderate mainstream which is representative of the majority of  public opinion but has shown she is able to manage those from all sides of the political spectrum  and get the best out of them because of, not n spite of their ideological differences.

Clare is not bothered by ideology purity but rather focuses upon what works best to improve hard working peoples lives.

. As Chairman of Parliament, which has no corporate view, Clare has managed to build and manage a team with a whole variety of political opinions which are diametrically opposed to each other but still understand that political differences are not important when off the clock when she expects members of her team to focus on those commonalities which bring the team together. Clare’s commitment to team building and cohesiveness has made her the beating heart of Parliament Stret.

Clare  also has invaluable experience navigating the corridors of power in Brussels where she worked as a policy analyst and a staffer to Sean Kelly MEP paying a special focus to International Trade and Technology.
