Arfan Ahmed – Director of Science in Society

Arfan Ahmed is a Food Technologist by profession, having graduated with a degree in BSc Nutritional Biochemistry from the University of Nottingham. He has worked for several leading food and drink companies, including Coca Cola Enterprises, Premier Foods and Kerry Foods, and has held a management position within his last role. He hopes to complete an MSc with University College London in the near future, with a view to a career change that will lead to embarking on a PhD in the medical sciences. He hopes to use his business experience and science background to offer something different to the more traditional circles of British Politics.
