Parliament Street’s Mo Metcalf-Fisher published an article for The Freedom Association today on the challenges facing the United Kingdom in relation to border control and immigration, and how dealing seriously with immigration and border control means standing up to Brussels.

Immigration is one of the most important issues facing Britain today. Despite some significant changes by the government to address the issue, it still continues to be of growing concern to vast numbers of the UK electorate.

David Cameron, who now leads a Conservative majority in the House of Commons, has reaffirmed his commitment to tackling the issue with a new wave of policies designed to lower legal immigration and tackle illegal immigration. This, the Prime Minister rightfully proclaims, is an issue for which he shall not “cave in”.
